PEDRERA MONASTRELL 2009
Red young wine
100% Monastrell
Grapes used to ellaborate this wine are found in vineyards
around 700 metres high in La Aragona place. These vineyards go round
the cellar, at 10 km in the northeast of Jumilla.
Vineyards from Monastrell have an average age of 25 years.
Recollection of the grape was made by hand during the third week
of October.
- TASTING NOTES:
Very deep red cherry colour. In nose, fruity aromas very attractive,
with touch of ripe fruit. Very well structured in mouth, well-balanced
and lively.
- MATCHING FOOD:
Salad light dressed, meat paste, noodles, spaguetti, cooked dish, mushroom, cold meat, blue and white fish, cream chesse, chesse goat, red and white meat, roast meat (lamb, pig), cooked chickpea.
